The Path to a Meditative Mind

Updated: Sep 27, 2023

The human mind is a tool, our own built in personal computer. It stores information and presents problems that need solving.

To quiet your mind during a Sound Bath Meditation does not mean the mind will stop its chattering. In fact, to allow it to do its thing and to push that inner noise into a background sound is a learned skill that will serve you well and lead you to a meditative mind.

“The key is to allow the background sound of the mind to become like the waves of an ocean, or birds in the distance.”

Allow the thoughts and emotions that arise during a sound meditation to float and bounce and be free within your own protected space, just don't interact with them and don't try to solve them. The key is to allow the background sound of the mind to become like the waves of an ocean, or birds in the distance.

Give Yourself Permission to Rest

It is ok to give yourself permission to rest, relax, and have some time for self care and restorative healing. The mind will not forget the same things that have been a revolving door until you are ready to release those concerns. (#restorative #healing #sound #meditation) Meditation is a letting go of control and giving in to listening and receiving.

The sound waves and frequencies of the instruments used for Sound Healing and Sound Meditation Sessions are the perfect tools to lead your focus both inward and outward to a place where the mind becomes truly quiet and at peace.
